About Us

We have been serving the Dallas/Richardson area since 1987. Thai Soon was created by Soontaree Chanchaisri. Her love for fresh authentic cuisines inspired her to open the first Thai Vegetarian restaurant in Dallas on Lower Greenville. It was a success for 15 years! Then in 2001 we moved here to Richardson. For 36 years now, Thai Soon has maintained the quality in all its dishes. Mama Soon has taught all of her Chefs to never waver on quality ingredients. We use the best coconut milk to make our signature “Red Curry”. All of our delicious soups are made from scratch. “Tom Kha Coconut Soup” is our Best seller. We serve hearty vegetable dishes that can satisfy anyone’s taste buds. Making great food is an Art. Our cuisines taste great because we put so much love and attention into each dish. We are so grateful for our loyal customers for letting us be apart of your Meals for this long.
